Join us for an authentic cab-view journey through the heart of eastern Croatia, travelling from Osijek to Vinkovci aboard a regional passenger train. Filmed entirely from the driver's cab with natural sound only, this video offers a front-row seat to one of Slavonia's most important railway connections.

Departing from Osijek, the largest city in eastern Croatia, the train heads southeast across the fertile plains of Slavonia. The route showcases the characteristic landscapes of the Pannonian Plain, with vast agricultural fields, rural villages and long, straight stretches of railway.

The Osijek–Vinkovci railway is an important regional link connecting the counties of Osijek-Baranja and Vukovar-Srijem. Originally built during the Austro-Hungarian era, the line provides the shortest rail connection between the two major railway centres of eastern Croatia. Following extensive reconstruction works, the route was modernized and restored to improve connectivity and railway operations throughout the region.

The journey concludes at Vinkovci, Croatia's most important railway junction and one of the key rail hubs in Southeast Europe. For more than a century, Vinkovci has served as a strategic crossroads for railway traffic linking Central Europe, the Balkans and the Adriatic region.
